Professor Sukehiro Hasegawa of Hosei University met with Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao and also Mr. Fernando “La Sama” de Araujo, President of the National Parliament of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste at a national consultation meeting held in Metinaro, in the District of Dili as well as Mr. Ruben Braz, District Administrator. It was the last of a series of meetings the Prime Minister made throughout the country, explaining the Strategic Plan for development of Timor-Leste. Mr. Ken Inoue, Director of Governance Unit of UNMIT and Mr. Jun Kikuta, Representative of UNICEF, went with Professor Hasegawa along with the participants of the UN Study Tour to Timor-Leste.
