本日は、内閣府国際平和協力本部事務局研究員の栃林昇昌様と山本弘行様にお越しいただき、「日本の政府がなぜ人間の安全保障を強く推進するのか」というテーマの下、安全保障の概念の変遷に関して討論いたしました。日本やカナダの特徴を交えて平和構築班がプレゼンを行いました。プレゼンの後、栃林様と山本様からコメントをいただき、最後はグループに別れて人間の安全保障の定義についてのディスカッションを行いました。（亀山未夢）

Two advisers of Secretariat of the International Cooperation Headquarters, Cabinet Office, Messrs. Tochibayashi and Yamamoto participated in our seminar today.
The Peace Building group made presentations on the transformation of the concept of security from national to human security. The group explained about the differences in approach of Japan and Canada for example and the reasons “Why does the Japanese government recommend Human Security so highly? “. After the presentations, both Mr. Tochibayashi and Mr. Yamamoto made their comment on the concept.
Finally we divided ourselves into several groups and held discussions about the definition of the human security. (Miyu Kameyama)
