「長谷川祐弘教授、グローバル・ガバナンスの講義を開始する」

法学部国際政治学科の長谷川教授の下、英語による講座「グローバル・ガバンナンス」が9月より始まりました。
9月24日と10月1日の2回にわたって長谷川教授が講義を行い、ウエストフェリア主権国家体制を基盤とした現実主義と自由主義の理論を紹介されました。
また、第2次世界大戦、そして冷戦終結後に加速してきたグローバリゼーションのもたらす新たな地球規模の課題に対処できるグローバル・ガバナンス関する理論を構築する必要性についても、学生に対して説明されました。

“Professor Hasegawa Launches Global Governance Lectures”

At Hosei University, Professor Hasegawa has launched a series of lectures on global governance. In his own lectures delivered on September 24 and October 1, he referred to the theories of realism and liberalism that are based on the Westfelian system of sovereign states and explained the need for a more effective structure of governance in order to deal with global issues and problems facting the international community. In doing so, he analyzed the strenthes and inadequacies of the claims made by constructivism and functionalism on international peace.
