Professor Hasegawa met with a group of 15 officials from the Royal College for Defense Studies （RCDS)
at the United Nations University onOctober 10 and delivered a speech on
“Potential for Japan`s IncreasedParticipation in UN peacekeeping and building operations.”
Also presentat the meeting from the UN University were, Dr Vesselin Popovski,Director of Peace and Governance,
Dr Kazuo Takahashi and Dr MadokaFutamura.

長谷川教授は、10月10日に国連大学で開かれた会議に出席しました。
本会議は、英国王室国防研究カレッジからの15人の将校や他の軍人と行ったもので、
先生は「今後の日本のより多くの国連平和維持構築活動への参加の可能性」と題してスピーチを行い、話し合いを行いました。
